Julie Hill believes that during the most difficult chapter of a client’s life, the legal team should provide more than representation. It should provide clarity, compassion, and a steady path forward.
As a Litigation Paralegal at Nares Law Group, Julie plays an active role in moving complex cases from the earliest stages of investigation through trial. She works closely with clients, attorneys, experts, and other members of the legal team to develop the evidence, manage critical deadlines, and ensure that no important detail is overlooked.
Julie brings decades of civil litigation experience involving personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury. She has a particular passion for helping people who have sustained traumatic brain injuries and understands that these cases affect far more than a person’s medical condition. A serious injury can change relationships, careers, independence, and the future an entire family once imagined.
Throughout her career, Julie has supported high-stakes cases from pre-litigation through trial. Her experience includes preparing discovery, organizing medical and other critical evidence, coordinating with expert witnesses, developing deposition exhibits, assembling trial materials, and helping attorneys transform complex information into a clear and compelling case. Two matters on which Julie worked were honored as “Case of the Year” by the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
Julie’s academic background gives her an especially valuable perspective when working with clients who have suffered neurological, cognitive, or communication-related injuries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders and a master’s degree in audiology from the University of Northern Colorado, as well as a paralegal certificate from Arapahoe Community College.
What distinguishes Julie is her commitment to seeing the person behind the case file. She believes clients deserve frequent, honest communication—including “the good, the bad, and the ugly”—so they can make informed decisions and maintain realistic expectations. She also recognizes that injured individuals and their families can easily become overwhelmed. Her approach is to take one step at a time, listen carefully, and help clients adjust to an unfamiliar new reality without allowing them to feel alone in the process.
At Nares Law Group, Julie embodies our core values of Clarity, Accountability, and Leadership. She asks thoughtful questions, communicates openly, safeguards important deadlines, and accepts responsibility for her role in every case. She also believes that exceptional client service depends on collaboration and mutual respect, because the strongest results come from a team that values one another and remains united around the client’s needs.
Julie is committed to continuing her education in trucking collisions, traumatic brain injuries, and emerging technology that can strengthen legal advocacy. Her goal is not simply to complete legal tasks, but to understand the complete story of each client’s loss and help build a case that reflects its true impact.
Outside the office, Julie enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and grandchildren, exploring new restaurants, attending concerts and comedy shows, making candles, and tackling DIY projects around her home. She is also interested in developing her photography skills.
For Julie, providing a hopeful future means helping injured people feel heard, supported, and protected while the legal team pursues justice on their behalf—one detail, one conversation, and one step at a time.
