Colorado Families, this week on Community Chat, Hagen Nares PLLC Truck Wreck and Brain Injury Lawyers is speaking with Dr. Bradley Poppie, founder of Injury Reporting Consultants. As you all know, I represent catastrophically injured families who face an uncertain future of physical limitations, cognitive disfunction, scheduled treatments, lost or diminished work, and restricted activity. In short, they have said goodbye to the life they once knew and are learning to cop and adapt to this new life. The question is- how do we advocate for our clients’ future needs, how do we tell the story of what 5, 10, 15 years from now will look like. Dr. Poppie has been instrumental in a number of my cases, to help us tell our clients story- what they have been through, what they will go through, and what the cost of their future will be. How does he do this? Dr. Poppie performs functional capacity evaluations, vocational and earning capacity evaluations, medical cost projections, medical billing reviews, and creates life care plans.
He has spent thousands of hours with catastrophically injured family members to understand their limitations, their goals, and their next steps toward reaching their goals. We welcome Dr. Poppie to talk about his journey, what it is life for him to perform someone of these capacity evaluations, and what families should know about the long-term care of a catastrophically injured person.
