Attorney Job description
Essential Duties:
Case Management
- Maintain a mixed litigation/prelitigation caseload of 50-80 cases and manage cases from inception through closing
- Independently handle day-to-day decision-making on assigned cases
- Develop case strategy and provide leadership and direction to Paralegals and Case Managers regarding case work
- Regularly consult with clients and third parties (expert witnesses, lay damage witnesses provided by client, etc.) to effectively move cases forward and to a successful conclusion
- Perform monthly case reviews to ensure clients receive proactive communication
- Enter client notes into the Case Management System
- Conduct intense point-related research and analyze case-specific legal issues to prepare documentation
- Prepare motions, briefs, memorandums of law
- Zealously represent clients in court or in meetings with opposing counsel
- Attend meetings, conferences, hearings, depositions, and trials
- Supervise, delegate, and monitor all discovery, communications, and advocacy
- Move cases along from intake to resolution
- Supervise, delegate, and monitor all case manager and paralegal tasks in the Case Management system currently being used by the firm
Communication
- Work collaboratively with the team, including staff members at all levels of experience and knowledge
- Cultivate relationships with the Firm's clients
- Adhere to the Firm's policies and procedures
- Report all issues, concerns, or questions to the owners

- Review daily reminders
- Review daily, weekly, and upcoming monthly calendar items and prioritize workload, especially litigation calendar items which absolutely must be adhered to
- Complete tasks
- Triage and prioritize responses to emails and phone calls
- Organize, sort, and summarize case information and files
- Draft letters/reports/ documents
- Review and sign off on responses to discovery
- Review and sign off on pleadings, motions, demands, correspondence
- Prepare for meetings / depositions / all court appearances
Weekly
- Meet with legal team for case status updates
- Submit Performance Metrics (KPI Reports) to Owner
Monthly
- Attend Case Status Update (docket review) meetings
- Provide case reviews and ensure clients receive updates
- Attend Meetings as calendared by owner(s)
Quarterly
- Performance Review
Annual

Education & Experience:
- Graduate from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law for state(s) in which working.
- Be in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association.
- 1 year with personal injury experience

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 year, depending on skills and experience. The compensation package includes a discretionary quarterly bonus for reaching fiscal bench markers.

Membership to Colorado Bar, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys will be paid by firm. Business Development Coordinator
As part of our dedicated team, the Business Development Coordinator will play a crucial role in shaping and executing marketing strategies that promote our firm's services and successes.
In this role, you will manage a range of marketing tasks including nurturing relationships with former clients and referral sources, event planning, public relations, and brand management. Your creative thinking, strategic planning, and ability to execute will directly contribute to our firm's visibility and reputation. This position is perfect for someone that can speak for an organization's mission, vision, and values, target referral sources that associate with our target avatar client, generate leads, and turn prospects into referrals.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- The primary responsibility of the Business Development Coordinator is to execute and maintain marketing channels that drive new leads to the firm's Sales funnel.
1. Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Implement an overarching marketing strategy aligned with the firm's goals and objectives.
- Identify target markets, conduct market research, and analyze competitors to inform marketing strategies and positioning.
- Follow a comprehensive marketing plan that integrates digital marketing tactics, traditional marketing channels, and business development initiatives.
2. Back End Marketing
- Execute the firm's back-end marketing system to ensure top of mind awareness.
- Identify community engagement events for the firm to participate in.
- Call current and former clients (on behalf of the firm) to check-in and see if there is anything the firm can do to assist them, or whether they have friends or family that would be open to firm help (also called GAS calls or Smile & Dial calls).
- Contact potential referral sources to arrange meetings with yourself and the attorney.
- Attend networking events
- Cold call referral businesses to drop off swag or refreshments along with information about our firm
- Maintain the top of mind awareness system to deepen relationships and increase value of current referral sources.
- Request Google Reviews
- Write letters and send gifts to referral sources
Sales
· Conduct sales calls to assist deserving injured families find a place where they will get the clarity, transparency, and peace of mind they deserve.
Key Performance Indicators
a. All Current and former clients contacted on a quarterly basis
b. All Team 100 referrals contacted on a quarterly basis
c. Attend 5 networking events per week
d. Conduct 8 1:2:1 meetings with new referral sources per week
e. Obtain 1 Google Review per week
Performance bonuses
e. Historical average monthly performance bonus for this position: $1000.00-3,000.00
